On the fifth and last floor of the building, the Residence under the roof, whose decoration was entrusted to Laura Gonzalez

Five High Jewelry creations and three exceptional limited-edition watches: a Tonneau, a Tank Asymétrique and a Cloche featuring the number 13 at 12 o’clock and the word “Paix” at 1 o’clock.

The stylized and highly realistic Panthère de Cartier spotted coat that appeared in 1914 is the motif for creations engraved with “13 Paix Paris” or a “13 Paix” coat of arms.

A responsible project for an eco-friendly building thanks to BREEAM certification 

This transformation meets ecology’s highest standards. The BREEAM rating takes into account eleven criteria: management, health and well-being, energy, transportation, water, materials, waste, ecology, pollution, flooding and innovation. Upon its opening, the new 13 Rue de la Paix will boast the “Very Good” level of BREEAM certification. 

The boutiques in Paris, London and New York set the tone: sacred sites THAT CARTIER OPENED TO THE WORLD, LAYING THE GROUNDWORK for what would become one of the century’s greatest adventures. Today, following those in London and New York, it is the Paris boutique’s turn to reveal itself, completely reinvented after two years of work.

The boutique occupies the street level and first two floors of the building. The third floor is dedicated to the wide range of services available to clients. The fourth floor houses the High Jewelry workshops, and on the fifth and final floor are the Archives, the winter garden and the Residence, an exclusive space designed as an apartment, a space for living, entertaining and hosting cultural events.

The architecture and décor have preserved some of the location’s significant elements – the façade, historical elements of the rooms, decorative details such as old moldings in certain suites. 

At the back of the boutique, an atrium built to emulate the spirit of the inner courtyard of Parisian buildings

They propose a contemporary reinterpretation of the identity and heritage of the Maison.
